I'm so big and strong

Callum just keeps getting bigger and stronger. His little legs are like powerhouses these days. I love kissing his fat, little arms and belly.

Out with my Buddys

Callum went out with some of his buddies this week celebrating the beginning of summer. He was pretty happy to hang out with people besides mom and dad who are already getting a bit dull.

Kieran and I are already feeling like some of the newborn moments are slipping away. Our little frog will soon be too big and too old for naps on his mama's chest.

Everybody loves me!

Callum spent some time with his Grandma Crowley this week and got tons and tons of love and affection from yet another doting grandparent...lucky little boy. He's decided that hanging out with all of these people is far more exciting than sleeping is and so is attempting the world's record for days without rest.

It has to be said that he is doing quite well at achieving this goal. Go Callum!

A most precious gift!

Cal and I were both so surprised to receive a second amazing quilt made by friends and family. Callum's grandma, great-grandma, my aunt, and friends from all over banded together to make a super soft, very special quilt. Covered with turtles, snails, ducks, birds, and fish it is definitely already a treasured gift. Thanks to everyone that pulled it together! It's gorgeous.

Here is Callum resting on it, thought it must be said that Nush was quick to identify it as an incredible place for an eight-hour nap. Just gaurding it for the little man, I suppose.

Like Father, Like Son

Thankfully, Callum...like his Papa...is into witty t-shirts. Callum is getting better at holding his own head up and more interested in looking around at the world. He still doesn't like to sleep very much but loves eating...as can be seen by his tremendously, adorable chubby cheeks that both of us can't resist kissing.
