I'm 16 weeks OLD!

The weather has taken a major cold turn as you can tell by our little man's outfits. But, no more 90 degree weather means we are taking lots more walks and accruing lots of neighborhood admirers. But, dealing with fans is just something Callum is going to have to get used to. These days we can do lots of sitting up (propped against a chair or couch) and are enjoying the view from a forward-facing baby bjorn. We are doing more talking and have learned how to scream so loud that we surprise even ourselves!

My goofy hat

As Callum gets stronger and more able to hold himself up he becomes the unwilling participant in the 'silly things I can balance on my head' contests held at home. Isn't this one great! He is all ready to shipping off to the circus, an idea he is not too excited about.

I love Minnesota so much!

Mama spends the day filling me with Minnesota-pride and I'm beginning to catch on! Look how excited I am hearing about Lake Superior and the Minnesota State Fair.

The Shed

Dad keeps talking about how exciting this new shed is, the house seems much warmer and has more toys than this old box but maybe someday I will get into it.

Visit with my grandparents!!

Callum visited his grandma and grandpa Crowley this weekend in Pennsylvania, his first trip across state lines! He was even able to watch the adults sips their lattes at a local cafe--the famous gryphon cafe (Papa is determined to cultivate a coffee-drinking buddy). Here he is enjoying their company and trying on the new hat they gave him.

Getting older

Callum's had his first babysitters this week when mom and dad went out for a short dinner at a local pub. Despite our nervousness, he didn't even seem to notice we were away! Cal has discovered his hands these days and occaisionally stops what he is doing just to inspect his hands and when he is done he tries to stuff them in his mouth! He's had lots of smiles and in this pictures is smiling at a particularly goofy daddy.

Our 3-month old rockstar

Callum is already too cool for school and is showing his pensive, aloof, and just pure rock side. At three months he is much more alert and getting stronger doing lots of sitting up and smiling...when he is not playing it cool that is.
