Some Awake Time

At the ripe old age of nearly four weeks, Callum is getting more interested in spending time awake and alert. It's fun for mom and dad to watch him follow shadows with his eyes and react to their voices.

Nush and Callum

Nush has been pretty lukewarm (at best) about the arrival of Callum. Naturally a cat in love with the sleeping and quiet, she isn't thrilled about having a crying little one in the house. Every once in a while she gives Kieran and I a look that says, "when are you returning that screaming machine?" but we did catch her sniffing the new arrival (it only took three and a half weeks) today.

Two Weeks old!

Hello! I am 2 weeks old, and I am beginning to get used to life out here. I like to take walks in a sling, although tend to nod off to sleep. I hate having my clothes changed, mainly because I have to wear these ENORMOUS underpants that get strapped on really tight!! My parents seem to want me to develop a regular sleeping pattern. Well, they are just crazy to think i would do such a thing when I am so young. I don't plan on sleeping for long stretches until I am a few months old. Right now, I will sleep when I want, and for how long I want. Deal with it, people!

Callum wins Cutest Baby USA 2007 Award!!

Lots to celebrate! Callum and I have been celebrating Manchester Utd FC's 9th Premiership title this week, this will be the first of many championships for Callum to enjoy as a fan of the greatest football club on earth. Also, Callum won a cutest baby title this week as well and a check for $10,000. Mum and dad will look after that on his behalf.

Callum's first walk--Day five

A little walk around the block for his first trip out. Mom and Dad enjoyed the sunshine and can't wait to celebrate upcoming birthdays in springtime weather. Callum is too small for the Baby Bjorn so for now he stays in his parent's arms.

Introducing Callum James!!

We are pleased as punch to announce the arrival of our amazing baby boy, Calllum James. He showed up 10 days early with an official birthday of May 2nd, at 3:21pm. He was 7 pounds, 9 ounces and 19 inches long and took more than 30 hours to arrive so Mommy and Daddy were overjoyed to see him.
