Photo Shoot

Our neighbor is a graphic designer by trade and an amateur photographer for fun. He gathered neighborhood babies for a little photo shoot at their house on Sunday. It was chaos trying to take a picture of all three of them without one wiggling, crawling, crying, or looking away! These are pictures I took of the action, I'm sure he got much better shots. Regardless, they are amazingly good-looking New Jersey babies. Don't you think? It's little Samantha (the laugher), Lila (who babbled a runny commentary the WHOLE time) and our little Cal.

A Visit with Friends

Callum enjoyed a visit with some of Mama's friends this weekend. He showed his affection by grabbing at noses and acting shy.

A Miraculous Easter Sunday

Happy Easter to all! We didn't get around to taking our Easter picture until the end of the day so we all look a little rough around the edges but it was a fantastic Easter, especially for Mama.

And, no. To answer everyone's questions the Easter bunny did not visit our house. To be perfectly honest, I just couldn't see the point. Maybe next year when we know what chocolate is.

My Buddy Paige put the P in Super

Or at least that is what her mama likes to say! With 'school' closed for Good Friday I got to play at Paige's house while our mama's yakked and drank coffee. Me and Paige like to touch eachother's faces and laugh at eachother. Paige is pretty funny.

All kinds of new developments!

Hair was getting just a little too long, so we cut a bit but not too much.

This is one of Callum's new favorite things to do...turn the pages of books and then throw them on the floor. It's endless entertainment. It's getting hard to read him a story because he just wants to turn the pages, not listen to me babble.

He's also surprised us with an adorable trait. He loves kissing! It's very slobbery but he leans over and plants his lips on our cheeks leaving a snail trail of slime but it's really lovely. He's also recently gotten into crossing his legs at his ankle...crossing and uncrossing. What little wonders are happening! It's so much fun to watch.

A Wonderful Weekend

This weekend we visited Grandma and Grandad Crowley in Pennsylvania. Callum had a great time cruising around their house with so much more room to roam he was on fire. We also found time to slip into Philadelphia and visit friends Elizabeth and Salvatore at a yummy Philly cafe. Cal is so lucky to have so many friends. Of course, this exictement was a bit tempered when we woke up on St. Patrick's Day with a ferocious ear infection, so bad his eyes were stuck shut with mucus. Needless to say, this little Irishman didn't feel much of the luck of the Irish.

My Bad Boy Jaw

This is my latest look...mama calls it the bad boy jaw and there is ongoing debate at daycare about whether it makes me look more like Jack Nicholson or Billy Idol.

10 Months Old!!

The world seems to move faster these days. I find myself thinking Callum is a 9 month old baby only to realize that, in a flash, he is suddenly a month older. Hard to fathom that a full 10 months have passed. What did we ever do with our time before he came along?? I truly don't remember. At 10 months our little man is trying his hardest to learn to walk, spending as much time as possible confidently standing, with support from a toy or a table or a helping hand. He does a little jive when music plays and loves laughing at his mama and papa's silly antics. He's truly a joy. An effervescent personality is emerging day by day, much to our delight. Here he is with his neighbor buddy, Lila, who is nearly the same age. So fun to watch them grow up together.
