Memory Lane Vacation: Minnesota Edition

The Crowley boys meet Duluth! After our stint in Madison we headed north to Duluth to visit with Grandma Pat, Grandpa Bill, Uncle Charlie, Great-Grandma Irene, and Auntie Erika. Our days were filled with museum trips, hikes, beach time and all sort of outdoor exploration. We even got to celebrate Grandma Pat's Birthday (you will have to ask Grandma if you want to know how old she is) ! The boys even got to enjoy a quick kayak trip of which they are immensely proud. And, we headed home with sand in our hair and heads full of tales of Grandpa Bill's chocolate covered bumblebee and Uncle Charlie's tickle fests. Truly, a summer trip to remember.

Memory Lane Vacation--Wisconsin Edition

We just returned from our vacation to Wisconsin and Minnesota. We all had a fantastic time and enjoyed the city of Madison on the first leg of our adventure...Grandpa Steve met us there and we did out best to tire him out everyday.
We even managed to tire ourselves out, on occasion.Madison, WI is where I went to college and where Kieran and I met and got married so it holds a lot of memories. We got to share the Memorial Union with the boys....

And, enjoyed the Capital Lawn...

We also discovered some new places including a visit to our friend's house, which hosts a tree house, several chickens, an art studio and a guitar making shop.

And, we found the Madison Children's Museum that provided hours of full-bloomed entertainment.

And even got to peek in on the steadfast protesting going on. (Go Wisconsin!!) More coming later on the Minnesota leg of the journey....
