Tongue-tied, medically speaking

Not sure it is exactly visible in this shot but our littlest guy is tongue-tied. For real. His tongue attaches to the bottom of his mouth at the very tip, so he can't stick his tongue out and would suffer from speech problems as he got older. So, we are currently seeing a specialist and someday soon will need to have a surgery. Gulp. Amazing what you learn as a parent.
